Vocabulary

• Screw. Tornillo. A fastener with a tapered threaded shank and a slotted head. Un sujetador con un fuste roscado terminado en punta y una cabeza con ranuras.
  

• Bolt. Perno. A (usually) metal fastener consisting of a cylindrical body that is threaded, with a larger head on one end. Un sujetador (normalmente) de metal que consiste de un cuerpo cilíndrico que está roscado, con una cabeza más grande en un extremo.

• Bolt. Cerrojo, pestillo. A bar of wood or metal dropped in horizontal hooks on a door and adjoining wall or between the two sides of a double door, to prevent the door(s) from being forced open.
